Stevie Wermers-Skelton is a Disney story artist and director.[1] She co-directed with Kevin Deters a traditional animated short How To Hook Up Your Home Theater (2007), a computer-animated Prep & Landing series (2009-2011), and a traditional animated The Ballad of Nessie (2011). She is currently preparing a new Prep & Landing holiday special.[2]

It has been reported that she is historically Walt Disney Animation Studios first screen-credited female director. (However, some would say that she was preceded by director Jun Falkenstein who directed Disney's 2000 theatrical release The Tigger Movie. The Tigger Movie started off as a Walt Disney Television Animation direct-to-video production, but was later deemed to be worthy of a full theatrical release.) It was included in the Animation Show of Shows in 2007.
